Houses of Parliament
B&R Installations are currently carrying out various works as part of the huge restoration project currently being undertaken by the Government to keep this building as the centre point for British politics. The Houses of Parliament has been, and still is our largest project to date. We began works in 2012 and expect to still be on site into the 2020's. Working for MITIE Built Environment initially and more recently IMTECH & WATES Construction. We have constantly had to comply with the strictest of health & safety policies and specifications as well as dealing with logistical & security constraints at what is arguably the most iconic building in the world.
Due to the nature of the building we are unable to show any pictures of our work or specifications. However on this site we have completed both the Ventilation & Steelwork packages in addition to numerous crane lifts. We have provided a complete turn key service including elements of design, structural calculations as well as offsite warehousing and logistics on top of our 3 core disciplines. It is our high quality of service and ability to adapt to the clients needs whilst on this project that has won us the attention of some of the UK’s largest contractors which B&R are now working with.
The value of the project to B&R has multiplied over 50 fold from the original order which is testament to the quality of service and range of solutions that B&R offer.
